1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Secuvon, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Secuvon after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Account Registration

When you register for a Secuvon account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Ensure that you are at least 18 years of age

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and password. Secuvon is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

3. Permitted Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Secuvon for lawful security analysis, vulnerability assessment, and compliance purposes. You may only use our service to analyze systems and applications that you own or for which you have explicit authorization from the owner.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Secuvon for any of the following prohibited activities:

• Unauthorized security testing of systems you do not own or control
• Conducting denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
• Attempting to circumvent security measures, access controls, or authentication systems
• Sharing, selling, or transferring your API credentials or account access
• Engaging in any illegal activities or violating applicable laws
• Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users or Secuvon personnel
• Transmitting malware, viruses, or other malicious code
• Scraping, crawling, or extracting data from our platform
• Impersonating any person or entity

5. API Keys and Credentials

API keys and authentication tokens provided by Secuvon are strictly confidential and personal to your account:

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys
• Do not share, commit, or distribute API keys in public repositories or communications
• You are liable for all activities conducted using your API keys
• Revoke any compromised keys immediately and report the incident through the contact form
• We may revoke keys if we detect suspicious activity or policy violations

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Secuvon source code is licensed under the MIT License. That license governs use, copying, modification, and distribution of the software. Secuvon names, logos, hosted-service content, customer data, and third-party materials may be subject to separate rights.

You retain ownership of any data, code, or scan results that you provide to Secuvon. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide the service and improve our platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide such data to us.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Secuvon provides the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• In no event shall Secuvon be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages
• Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Secuvon shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Secuvon, its founders, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your unauthorized use of Secuvon; (c) your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights; or (d) your data or use of our service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Secuvon immediately, without notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms
• You engage in unlawful or malicious activity
• You abuse the service or other users
• Payment for the service fails or is fraudulent

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use Secuvon ceases immediately, and any remaining balance is non-refundable unless required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts for any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Secuvon.

11. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, either party may pursue legal action in accordance with the Governing Law section.

12. Modifications to Service

Secuvon reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any portion thereof at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that negatively affect your use of the service. Continued use of Secuvon following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Data Processing Agreement where separately signed, constitute the entire agreement between you and Secuvon regarding the service and supersede all prior negotiations, agreements, and understandings, whether written or oral.
